Virtual psychotherapy for adults across Ontario navigating anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, and life transitions. At Wellness and Co Therapy, we offer a grounded, supportive space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself. Our approach integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based psychotherapy to help you move forward with greater steadiness, intention, and emotional balance.
Our services are designed for adults who are ready for deeper, more intentional change. Clients often reach out when they are:
Feeling overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or mentally exhausted
Experiencing anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress
Navigating life transitions such as career changes, motherhood, or relationship shifts
Struggling with overthinking, perfectionism, or self-doubt
Feeling disconnected from themselves despite functioning well in daily life
Seeking a grounded, insight-oriented and mind–body-informed therapeutic approach
While Amanda primarily works with women, other therapists within the practice also support male clients.
At Wellness and Co Therapy, we integrate mindfulness-informed and somatic-aware psychotherapy to support meaningful, sustainable change. This approach recognizes the connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences.
Through therapy, clients learn to:
Develop greater emotional awareness and self-understanding
Regulate their nervous systems and reduce reactivity
Recognize patterns that contribute to stress and burnout
Build resilience and capacity to navigate life’s challenges
Cultivate a stronger connection between mind and body
Our work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including mindfulness-based therapy, somatic awareness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed principles, and compassion-focused approaches.

Is virtual psychotherapy effective?
Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns, including anxiety, stress, and depression.
Is therapy covered by insurance in Ontario?
Many extended health benefit plans cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. While we do not offer direct billing, clients receive receipts to submit for reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan.
How long does therapy last?
The duration of therapy depends on your goals. Some clients benefit from short-term support, while others engage in longer-term work for deeper exploration and sustained change.
What is the difference between ongoing therapy and single-session therapy?
Ongoing therapy provides consistent support over time, while single-session therapy offers focused clarity around a specific concern without committing to continued sessions.
